IIt is me again, I have done some more reserach on the mortage crisis. In last year, no one know what really and how bad it is. Till now, we kind get a sense that the mortage crisis is very stunning, I am very worry about my 401k investment althought most of them are in TSE Ralted stock only 5 percent in Nasdaq. What worry me the most is that these big company like Leman can just went default in a single night. These big boys are drop like a files. I just feel there is no reason for trusy any of my Mutual fund or ETF company any longer. Right now, I actually have to face more default risk tham ever after. Furthermore, if we start to buy put option against our underlying asset. Will or are we really get protected. Because technically these derverivative can be defult too. Is just like the insurance of AIG, when it go default, all the policyholder 's interest is gone.
Back to Harry Dent's Forecast. I think he forecast still stand some merit. He posint that right now we can have a rally to the previos high, in which I think it could be possible. Since the AIG case is little more stable. Also about his back wriiten in 2004 the great boom ahead. Again, I know where his view come from. It could be that the America government wil try everything to push the grwoth higher, maybe the Dow will go to 35-40k as he point out early. On the bright side right now, the weakness in the dollar have pushed the export to a very high level, maybe it can be the good news to the current economic condition.
