Personal loan advice

Postby paulabirne123 on Sun Jan 11, 2009 9:43 am

I want to take out a personal loan. Nothing too big, just $3500-$4000.
Are there any recommendations of where to shop for the best interest rates?

What about opening a credit card and just charging it on there? I see a lot of them offering 0% APR for the first 12 months. What is the catch with this?

Any other suggestions? My credit is good. Thanks.
